Joselu, Ceballos and Nacho satisfied after Union Berlin comeback

Real Madrid striker Joselu Mato scored a brace in his side's 3-2 Champions League comeback against Union Berlin on Tuesday. The Spanish forward they had "moments that were not good", but that his team "never give up".

"We had some moments that were not good, but this team never gives up. We had control of the game in the second half, we made the most of our chances and we deserved to win," the former Espanyol man said to 'Real Madrid TV'.

"Any time I play wearing this shirt is a source of pride and pleasure; it's a dream since I was a child and it's an honour to give everything for this jersey. These games are what I dream about every day," he said of his role during the season. 

Dani Ceballos, who scored the winning goal in Germany, said the goal "gives him a lot of confidence" and thanked his coach, Italian Carlo Ancelotti, for his support during the bad times he has had due to injury.

"It's an important goal for Real Madrid's perfect record in the group stage, which hasn't happened for a long time and it's the third time in their history. On a personal level, it's a goal that gives me a lot of confidence and I'm very happy to give the team the win," the Spanish midfielder said.

"Every minute wearing this jersey means a lot. Every player would like to play for Real Madrid and, above all, in the Champions League. We're in a good dynamic and this result will strengthen us for what's to come," he added.

Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernandez said that "it's good to come from behind" in a game in which they found themselves trailing at the break after Luka Modric missed a penalty.

"We came here to win even though we were qualified and top of the group. This crest demands that you compete and win every game. We are happy about that. The game was complicated because of his opener after we missed the penalty, but it's good to come from behind," he said on 'Movistar+'.
