Jordi Alba has signed a new long-term contract at Barcelona, keeping him at Camp Nou until 2024, the LaLiga leaders have confirmed. The deal is believed to include a release clause of 500 million euros, and Barcelona President Josep Bartomeu had warned the club that they needed to get the contract sorted before the Champions League second leg against Lyon.
The nimble left-back joined the club from Valencia in 2012, and has gone on to make 185 appearances for the club, as well as racking up 67 caps and 8 goals for the Spanish national team.
