Joao Felix will have a release clause of 350 million euros

Joao Felix will have the highest release clause ever at Atletico Madrid, significantly higher than the previous highest, the 200 million euros of Antoine Griezmann, although that changes to 120 million on the 1st July.
Atletico see Joao Felix as a player for the future. and want to secure his services to prevebt him signing on elsewhere.
And so with the Madrid club so desperate to sign and keep Felix, they will not only break the record for the highest transfer, but also for the highest release clause in their history.
Atletico will fix the Portuguese forward's price at 350 million euros, a figure that the La Liga side would demand for the future should they sell Felix.
The release clause of Felix is massively higher than anyone else in the Atletico squad currently, with Griezmann's currently at 200 million, Thomas Lemar, the most expensive player in Atletico history at the moment, has a release clause of 190 million euros. Koke, Saul and Vitolo all have release clauses of 150 million euros, whilst Marcos Llorente, Atleti's latest signing has a release clause standing at 120 million euros.
AS believes that Felix is on the brink of moving to Madrid, Atletico intend to officially announce the signing next week, and in Portugal the media are saying the deal is done, it seems it is only a matter of time now before Joao Felix is at Atletico Madrid.
