"Joao Felix? There is no one above Atletico"

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Pablo Simeone appeared before the media ahead of the K-League All Stars match. He declared that "there is no one above Atlético de Madrid" when asked about Joao Felix's situation.

"The most important thing is that none of us in the team is more important than Atletico Madrid. Atleti is much more important than all of us and there is no one above the club," he said during his first press conference of the pre-season.

The Argentinian coach also spoke about Spanish striker Alvaro Morata, who is awaiting a decision on his future after being linked with several Serie A sides, and acknowledged that he is "very happy" with him as he is an "important player".

"I am happy with Alvaro, he is an important player. We have very good competition with the five strikers. I hope he competes as he has always done with us and hopefully we can help him continue to grow," he said.
