Isco 'proud' to return to the Spanish national team

Isco Alarcon will once again wear the Spanish national team shirt. The Betis midfielder has been the main novelty of “La Roja” for the “Final Four” of the Nations League, where they will face France in the semi-final.

The Malaga-born player spoke to the official media of Real Betis to express his first words as a member of “La Roja” again in his second stage and after playing his last game in 2019.

"Some of my teammates told me while we were training, I don't know how they found out. I'm happy to be back after so many years," said the Betis player, called up by Luis de la Fuente.

"It's a nice goal to be able to come back, to play with my national team and I'm proud to be here. That means that things have been done well and hopefully I can settle in," said the midfielder.
