Initial agreement reached between Nuno and Tottenham

Tottenham have spent a long time trying to find someone to take over the reigns from Jose Mourinho. Ryan Mason took charge of the side on a temporary basis for the end of the season, and the club have been on a seemingly endless chase ever since trying to bring in someone with a more long-term plan in mind.
However, 'The Athletic' report that this matter will be resolved in a matter of days. The British media outlet reports that an initial agreement has been reached between Spurs and Nuno Espirito Santo. The source explains that Nuno will hold talks with the North London club this Wednesday, as he has reportedly already given the all clear himself.
Fabio Paratici, Spurs' new sporting director, landed in London this Tuesday. It is expected that he will meet up with Nuno shortly - who reportedly also arrived in the English capital this Wednesday morning - in order to discuss his future as the new manager of Tottenham.
The club themselves are convinced that Nuno is the man to finally succeed Jose Mourinho. The deal still awaits confirmation, however, as the ex-Wolves boss has plenty of other options lined up. In Turkey, for example, Fenerbahce have been rumoured as another potential destination for the Portuguese.
