Iniesta sidelined for up to 6 weeks with injury

The most recent victim is club captain Andrés Iniesta, who left the pitch hobbling off having played just 60 minutes. The 2-1 win against German side Bayer Leverkusen will come as little consolation, as the club could be without their key man for up to 6 weeks.
Having made a darting run ahead of Leverkusen's defense, the player seemed to jar his knee against the ground and he instantly knew something was wrong. He was substituted for Jordi Alba straight away and the club went onto win their second Champions League group game.
The medical department has issues a statement regarding Iniesta's injury: "The player is suffering from an injury to his femoral bicep in his right leg. His progress in recovery will determine how soon he can rejoin the club."
However according to Spanish paper 'El Larguero' Iniesta has suffered a rupture that will see him sidelined for over a month.
