In addition, the retired ex Barcelona and Tenerife player sent a damning message to President Florentino Perez: "Florentino, are you awake? In four months, he destroyed the Spanish national team and the best Madrid in history."

Marc Crosas, who currently works as a television commentator for 'Univision Deportes', also penned a message to Luiz Enrique: "Nacho starts in the Spanish national team while Jordi Alba watches him from home, Lopetegui doesnt even support this," he exclaimed, about the coach's decision to not have the Barcelona player in the Spain team.
