"If we can’t do it, let’s fail in the most beautiful way"

The Liverpool coach is a great communicator, always has been. He knows how to choose his message. Even though English is not his first language, he's still comunicates wonderfully in it. That's why he left a good slogan to evoke the comeback needed against Barça.
"Two of our best strikers will not be available and we have to score four goals. That doesn't make life any easier, but we'll try. If we can't do it, let's fail in the most beautiful way," he said at the pre-match press conference.
Minutes before he had confirmed that Salah would not be playing. However, assuming that reality, he did not want to show a defeatist version of himself during his intervention before the media.
"Of course we believe. I believe in my boys and this is football," he said. He also wanted to remind everyone what happened last year in Rome, when Barcelona were left without a spot in the UCL.
"It's a good example to try to eliminate Barcelona. There are many differences; they scored a goal away from home. I'm not going to sit here and talk about the Barcelona players or the great team they are. I sit here to talk about my boys, Liverpool and who is available. Let's try until the end. You can compare it with Rome, with whatever you want, but it's something different," he said.
As for his recipe for success on Tuesday, he warned that it's time to "go step by step, not think about the third goal before the first. We have to go little by little, try and not get nervous".
Klopp was surprised because he had imagined a different scenario at Anfield: "I didn't think we were going to need so many goals in the second leg. We're ready for 95 minutes or more to try. We have to be very good in defence and really good in attack. Again, let's try.
Jürgen Klopp never abandons his more sarcastic side, which appeared when asked what had to be changed. "The result," he laughed. "I said in the first leg that we had played well. Barcelona is doing very well. We played very well in the first leg, but we didn't score. Football is sensations," he added.
