"If Mbappé wants to win the Ballon d'Or, he can't stay at PSG"

Kylian Mbappé's continuity at PSG remains in doubt. Real Madrid want him, that much is known, but it seems complicated that there will be a million euro transfer this summer.
The most likely scenario is that Madrid will try to sign the Frenchman when his contract expires, or that they will try to force his signing as cheaply as possible.
In the meantime, there has been a steady stream of advice for the star, who this summer has been infamous for his lacklustre performance at the European Championship. It was an improved performance that culminated in France's elimination after he himself missed a penalty in the shoot-out against Switzerland.
Frenchman Nicolas Anelka, a former player who knows well the reality of both clubs, advised him in 'The Athletic' to leave PSG if he wants to continue his growth to replicate what Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi have done.
"There are two options. Stay in Paris or go to Real Madrid. Both can win the Champions League, but the decision depends on what you want to achieve in football. If you want to have maximum success, you must leave PSG," the former striker explained in the letter.
"If Mbappé wants to win the Ballon d'Or, which is what he has to do to take over from Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, he has to compete with the greatest. You can't say that about France. They will say he did well at PSG, but the best leagues are in England and Spain," Anelka continued.
"You can't say you're competing with the best if you're at PSG," concluded the former Madrid striker, a millionaire signing at the time who didn't quite gel in Madrid.
