Ibra aside, average age of Milan's goalscorers is 22

For years there was talk of Milan being an aging club, but that is now far from the case. This new look team is very different to previous ones. 

Stefano Pioli's side have still not lost in the 2020-21 season and they are one of the best teams together with Bayern Munich post lockdown. Extraordinary performances achieved thanks to the return of a key man, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. 

Ibrahimovic has helped the youngsters at the club have someone to turn to and he has made them better. 

Proof of this is that if we ignore Ibra's seven goals, the other goalscorers in age order are Krunic, 27, with one goal, Calhanoglu, 26, with four goals and Castillejo, 25, with three. 

Colombo, 18, has got four goals and 21 year-old Saelemakers joined in January from Anderlecht for 3.5 million euros. He scored his second goal against Roma at the weekend. 

Rafael Leao, Brahim, Tonali, Daniel Maldini, Theo Hernandez, Kalulu, Hauge... As we said, apart from Ibrahimovic, the truth is that the average age of the players who have scored for Milan this season is 22.2 years. This team has a bright future and they have the experienced of Zlatan to guide them.
