'I would jump at the chance to go back to Barca'

Yaya Toure has been a big success since he moved from Barcelona to Manchester in 2010. The Ivorian was part of a wave of signings that saw City turn from a mid-table side into Premier League champions, lifting the title in 2011/12, 2013/14, and once more this year. Toure is drawing an end to his time at City at the end of this season, having won seven trophies in his eight year stay.
That being said, the midfielder also enjoyed himself in Spain, winning two league titles and a Champions League for Barcelona between 2007 and 2010, and speaking recently, he has revealed that he would welcome a move back to Barca.
“I would head back to Barcelona,” he said, speaking to Spanish outlet 'El Larguero' about his departure from City. “If Barcelona calls me, I will go for sure, they are the best team."
Toure went on to explain that he misses the players at Barca. “I miss [Lionel] Messi and [Andres] Iniesta," he explained. "Barcelona have been the most important team of my life. They have given me humility, experience and the knowledge of how to behave on the field.”
When pressed further about Iniesta, who is also drawing a close to a chapter of his career at the end of this season, Toure expressed that he will have to see if he can meet up with the Spaniard.
“He is a formidable person," Yaya said. "I need to send him a message to see if we will see each other in China or wherever.”
