"I used to get kicked too and I celebrated in their faces, Vini has to defend himself"

Vinicius was insulted during the Mallorca-Real Madrid game. He was the main player of the match due to his ups and downs with Raillo, even with some of the fans at Son Moix.
The striker is once again on everyone's lips. For some, he is a provocateur. For others, he is the target of unjustified insults.
Hugo Sanchez believes that what used to happen to him when he was playing is happening to the Brazilian: "Both Vinicius and I do create dangerous chances. That's why there's that feeling of fear every time he gets the ball and that makes the defenders desperate. I also made the defenders desperate because they kicked me. Occasionally, I would kick them back and, when I scored a goal, I would go and celebrate in their faces", he commented on 'El Partidazo de COPE'.
"Vinicius has to defend himself with his strengths, but in a way that doesn't affect him with yellow cards and when he complains to the referee it should be a complaint like what we are all asking for, that please we want protection. Strikers do the most difficult thing in football, which is to score goals. The easiest thing is to defend, to kick and prevent them from scoring," he continued.
He encouraged the Real Madrid star to follow his example: "The more people insulted me, the more important I felt, because they were noticing me. Instead of annoying me or making me nervous, it inspired me. That's what's happening with Vinicius. What he has to do is feel important because he's being noticed".
