Liverpool did everything they could to win the Premier League, but Man City won in the end. The Sky Blues fought back from 0-2 down in six minutes to beat Aston Villa while Klopp's men had difficulty in defeating Wolves 3-1.
The Reds worked hard to get the three points, a triumph which came at a cost. Thiago, just before the interval, got injured and left the field to prevent it getting worst. His face said it all.
After the match, Klopp did not hide his concern over the Spanish international in comments to 'beIN Sports': "I think he'll miss the final, he's limping. It's not a good sign." The injury came to his femoral biceps muscle.
As well as the injury to Thiago, who assisted Mane in the 1-1 goal with a spectacular backheel, Van Dijk and Salah, who both had knocks, did not start the match against Wolves.
In other news, Joe Gomez just has a slight injury while Fabinho will finally be available for the game. The Champions League final against Madrid is on Saturday 28th May.
