"I think Rudiger and Tchouameni are good reinforcements"

On Monday, Iker Casillas, ex Spain international and Real Madrid goalkeeper, publically approved the additions of the German defender, Antonio Rudiger and the French centremidfielder, Aurelien Tchouameni into the 'Los Blancos' squad. He said that both players are "very good reinforcements" for Carlo Ancelotti's team.
Casillas was attending the 'Legends' presentation at the club museum which will house over 4,000 items related to the club's history compiled by Marcelo Ordas. In passing, the ex goalkeeper analysed the current state of the club.
"Rudiger and Tchouamenie are very good reinforcements. Rudiger is a very important signing to keep a solid back line and consolidate the team", said Casillas. He also believes that the current Madrid squad does not require too many additions before the start of the 2022/23 campaign.
"Everything is still very fresh in terms of the two title successes to be thinking about next season. The squad was well formed last season and it doesn't require much more. You have to appreciate what they did last season", he concluded.
