"I'm used to being provoked, as I've been since I was eight years old"

Vinicius, as usual, was key to Madrid's victory over Chelsea in the first leg of the quarter-final. The Brazilian did not score, but he did provide an assist for Asensio to make it 2-0.
After the match, the striker spoke to 'Movistar'. He was asked how he coped with the fact that opponents foul him a lot and the controversy that is always generated around him. "I'm used to it, I've been provoked since I was eight years old in Flamengo until I was 18, when I arrived here," he replied.
He believes that, in all this time, he has improved a lot. "I left Brazil when I was 18 and until I was 21 I was learning, doing things well, working at home.... Now I'm 22, I've played more than 200 games. It's normal that I'm playing better now, but I'm still working on my best version, which is yet to come", he analysed in depth.
Curiously, after that game, he spoke about Barcelona's Araujo, as there is no one who has marked him better so far: "He is the player who has defended me best. He's very good and very strong, that's why he plays for Barca".
Finally, he called on Ancelotti to become Brazil coach one day. "I hope he coaches me here and in the 'Selecao'," he said when questioned about the future of the Real Madrid manager.
