Julen Lopeteugi's future at the helm of Wolves has been spoken about recently. Problems that the English side may have with the 'Financial Fair Play' rules have come to light with the upcoming transfer window in mind, and the Spaniard spoke about them.
"We spoke to know what the real situation was. I'm under contract and I'm the manager for next year, but we'll see what happens. This is football. If there's no money to invest and we have to sell a lot of players... " the ex-Sevilla boss started by saying.
He then added: "It's going to be difficult to improve. That's why it's really important to be prepared and that's why I want to know more about our possibilities to know more about my future". He also spoke about the type of signings he'd like to make for next season.
"Now is the time to speak. If there are financial problems it's a new challenge for me. I didn't know about it before. I'm not thinking about signing players from Real Madrid or Barcelona. I don't ask for unrealistic signings. I think about getting in good, young players... Maybe from the Championship", he concluded.
