Real Madrid's Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior is confident ahead of the Champions League final against Liverpool on Saturday 28th May, saying he has in his "head what he can do" and "what not to do", while confessing that he is "a bit nervous too".
"We are really enjoying this last week after a great season, not only for me, but also for the team and the coach. I'm already thinking about the final, I have in my head what I can do and what not to do. I'm a bit nervous too, it's my first final. It's the most important match. Thank you very much to the fans for supporting us, we're going all out in Paris," he told 'Real Madrid TV'.
"Rodrygo, Camavinga, Valverde, Militao and I are just beginning our history at this club. It's important to play alongside experienced players, that gives you the peace of mind we need," he added.
Vinicius also spoke about what has been his best season in the elite, scoring 21 goals and providing 20 assists.
"I'm very happy with my season, I hope it's the first of many goals with this team that does so much for me and teaches me a lot. The confidence I have is very important. Now I have more experience after so many games and after playing alongside players with so much experience and titles. I am working hard and I will continue to do so," he commented.
