"I feel much better, almost at 100%"

Real Madrid ended their short pre-season ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season in high spirits after claiming a convincing 4-0 victory over WSG Tirol with goals from Kylian Mbappe, Eder Militao and Rodrygo Goes. 

One of the positive news for the 'Merengues' was not only the good sensations ahead of their La Liga opener against Osasuna, but also that David Alaba played 30 minutes without any discomfort, as he is still not fully fit following his knee injury, but the Austrian centre-back assured that he is close to being so.

"I feel happy, of course. It's my country, and I think the atmosphere has been great. I'm very happy. I'm much better, I'm almost at 100%. I feel much better and 100% ready," he told 'Real Madrid TV'

The former Bayern player also spoke about how he felt playing as a midfielder under Xabi Alonso."It’s a different position. I know it a bit from some time ago," he added.
