"I celebrated it so much that I got dizzy"

Davide Frattesi, hero of the decisive goal that gave Inter victory over Barcelona in the Champions League semifinals, revealed that he became dizzy in the final stages of the match because he had celebrated his goal too much.
After the goal in the 99th minute of extra time, Frattesi had to be treated by the medical staff. “My head is spinning,” could be read on his lips. “I celebrated so much that I got dizzy. Good thing there was ice...”, he said laughing to ‘Sky Sport’. His celebration, euphoric and climbing a fence, almost cost him his change.
“It's unbelievable, really. I don't know what to say. I didn't think I could repeat something like 2023 and, tonight, the unbelievable happened,” he explained. “I think this, scoring decisive goals, is part of my career. I've always been the last to give up and the first to believe. It's a reward for believing,” he added.
“I didn't believe it with the equaliser. I said to Thuram: 'Don't worry, we're going through'. I came on and it looked like I'd been playing because we didn't stand still on the bench,” he said.
