The Tottenham captain was found to have 186 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood in his system.
In the UK, it's illegal to drive with a level over 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood - Lloris was more than twice as drunk as he was allowed to be.
However, these numbers offer little real insight into Lloris' state of mind and body at the time of his arrest.
For this reason, Norwegian reporter Mathias Skarpaas decided put his liver on the line for journalism, and see how drunk a level of 186 milligrams actually equates to.
It took Skarpaas more than two bottles of wine before he eventually reached the same level as Lloris, by which time he could barely walk straight.
The video seriously calls into question Lloris' judgement.
