Herrera a hero on his debut!

A quarter of an hour was enough for Hector Herrera to make a difference and punch a hole in Juventus' hearts. The Mexican finally made his debut for Atletico and was the hero against Juventus.

When Juventus had almost celebrated their victory and the pessimism surrounded the Wanda Metropolitano stadium, Herrera appeared to get the equaliser in the stop of play.

Atletico recovered in the final minutes of the Champions League game. They were powerful in the air and were able to raise the 0-1 scoreline to 1-2 in two actions to the stopped ball.

The first goal was scored by Savic and then Herrera with the second, as he equalised in the last minute and confirmed that they deserved more minutes. His goal came at the perfect moment and assured that Simeone's team went away with a point.
