Hernandez rejects new Hull offer

The club's statement read: "Although the offer made to Hernandez exceeded what the club would normally offer at Championship level, the striker will now look to make a fresh start elsewhere. We would like to wish him well for the future".
Hernandez also made a comment about the situation, through Instagram, it read: "I am writing to say THANK YOU to all the fans of Hull for these 4 beautiful years in which they have given me all the affection, during the good times and also during the not-so-good ones.
"You never stopped showing me your great support and affection, and I am deeply grateful. I will never forget the matches in which you sung my name, this is something that I will have forever in my heart.
"This is why you deserve to know, directly from me, that my time in Hull is now over, everything comes to an end and today I have to say goodbye.

The Uruguayan striker will now be a free agent and has reportedly attracted interest from Leeds United, who hope to appoint Marcelo Bielsa as their new manager soon.
Hernandez made 110 appearances for the 'Tigers', scoring 39 goals during his four-year tenure.
