Manchester City have an exciting season ahead of them. The team, now spearheaded by Erling Haaland, will once again be in with a real chance of winning their first Champions League title in their history.
In coments for 'Sky Sports', Pablo Zabaleta claimed that the new Norwegian striker "is probably the best player in the world". "I saw him and he was... wow", added the ex-Argentina full back.
"He was one of the main players. He was in the market and a lot of top teams were looking to sign him. We are all very pleased to have him at the club", explained Zabaleta.
"I think he's got already that connection with Man City because his dad has been playing before for the club. Players come here and then they don't want to move, they feel like part of the family. He's a world class player. He's a great signing", he declared.
On City's last few years, Zabaleta added: "Domestically they won everything. They've been very successful, dominating the English football in the last ten years. The Champions League is one of those competitions that the club is looking for but I'm confident. Hopefully they can win it soon", he concluded.
