Guardiola: 'every game is a final' as Man City chase Champions League spot

Manchester City manager Guardiola has stressed the importance of playing every remaining Premier League game as a final as his side fight for a Champions League place with just seven games left this season. They are currently sixth in the table.
“Every single game is a final. It’s not complicated, we don’t have 15 or 20 games left, we have seven games left, so it’s a final every single game and we have to win a lot of games to qualify because Newcastle have just one game a week, Aston Villa’s quality," Guardiola claimed during Friday’s press conference
Manchester City's campaign has been hampered by injuries to key players such as Rodri, Erling Haaland and John Stones, but Guardiola praised his squad's ability to adapt in difficult circumstances.
With Newcastle United also in contention and Aston Villa performing well in Europe, City's path to Champions League qualification remains as uncertain as it is difficult, but possible if they maintain consistency in their recent fixtures.
