Gremio tired of Suarez's knee problems

Uruguay striker Luis Suarez continued treatment on Saturday on his right knee and said he is "always" a "professional" as rumours grow about his possible departure from Gremio to sign for Inter Miami.
"Working, always professional," said the 36-year-old striker on his social networks, alongside a photograph showing him with a physiotherapist who is treating his right knee, where he suffers severe pain as a result of osteoarthritis.
Gremio, in third place in the Brazilian League, faced Atletico Mineiro on Saturday in a match corresponding to the sixteenth matchday.
The coach had already said a day earlier that the former Liverpool and Barcelona player will only play if he is "focused" in Porto Alegre.
"Regardless of the pain, he has to be focused here, he knows how important he is for the team," said Renato Gaúcho, who referred to the striker's situation as a "problem" more typical of a "Mexican soap opera".
"In every press conference I have to talk about Suarez. It is a problem that is in the hands of the president. Everything that has come out (in the press) is true, but only the board can decide," he told reporters.
The striker is willing to pay back all wages since he joined the club in January and pay extra money to terminate his contract, which runs until December 2024, according to 'ESPN Brasil'.
