Gazzaniga saved Spurs in first half with four great saves in three minutes

If anyone was worried about Spurs not having a top keeper in goal at Anfield, the Argentinian keeper needed just half an hour to make clear that there was nothing to worry about. If Kane was the standout with his goal after 47 seconds, his teammate was during the first half. 

In the 27th minute, he made a double save. Salah connected with a great volley from the edge of the area and the keeper dived to his left to keep Spurs in front. Firmino, who was there to pounce, hit the rebound from close range, but the Argentine reacted to knock it for a corner.

Just two minutes later, when Anfield thought they were going to level, Gazzaniga popped up again. Salah delivered the ball into the six yard box and Van Dijk was on the end of it, but the Spurs keeper got a hand to it to send it for a corner.

The last save came in the 30th minute, thanks to a powerful shot from Trent Alexander-Arnold from the edge of the area. Gazzaniga had other ideas though and he made a tremendous save.
