Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus was injured in November in Qatar and had to undergo surgery. However, his recovery has gone quite well and the 25-year-old has returned to training with Arsenal.
Arteta's squad trained on Wednesday to prepare for the Europa League last-16 tie against Sporting CP. The Brazilian player has been out of action since 12th November and missed the World Cup in Qatar due to a knee injury.
Nevertheless, Gabriel Jesus is available again for the Gunners and trained with his teammates on Wednesday. His coach does not want to force him and is likely to rule him out of Thursday's game.
The Brazilian joined the team last summer and has already scored five goals and provided six assists despite being injured. For this reason, it is great news for Mikel Arteta that he is back to fitness.
