From training at Madrid with Zidane and Ronaldo to being a lorry driver at 31

The aforementioned TV program took place in 2002 and awarded one Argentinian boy with a car, a hefty cash prize and, best of all, a trial with Real Madrid.
The Campo Argentino de Polo in Buenos Aires was the setting for the first series of the reality show. Centeno managed to enter just 10 minutes before they stopped accepting applications and he started to make it through the initial qualifying stages.
At just 16 years old, and after demonstrating his quality in 15 minutes of tests, he was named winner of the contest and houses throughout the country celebrated for him.
"I didn't get into Argentinos Juniors...and now I'm having a trial with Real Madrid?" Centeno said with disbelief and trepidation on the plane en route to Spain.
Upon his arrival, he visited the Santiago Bernabeu and greeted Ronaldo, Figo and Zidane, amongst others, a greeting which millions of children around the world dreamt about.
However, just a few yards away from his idols, Aimar Centeno would see his dream slowly drift away. He had a trial to join Los Blancos...but it only lasted a minute.
With the first ball he touched, he put in a cross and noticed something was wrong. He injured himself, as often happens in football and as such the trial was unsuccessful. From there, he returned to Argentina and tried his luck at River Plate, Rosario Central and Chacarita.
Those were his final attempts at reaching the elite, and after failing he threw in the towel. Now, Centeno is 31 and earns a living as a lorry driver after working as a waiter, concierge and shop assistant.
He now plays the beautiful game purely for entertainment with his local team, and there, he is the star player.
Not everyone can say they played for Real Madrid for one day.
