Fowler: There is a way back for Coutinho at Liverpool

Fowler, who has the record for the most left-footed goals in Premier League histroy and earned himself the nickname 'God' during his time at Anfield does not buy into the notion that the Brazilian has burned his bridges with the club after handing in a transfer request.
Speaking to English publication 'The Mirror', Fowler said: 'Everyone is saying there is no way back for Philippe Coutinho at Anfield, that even if he is still a Liverpool player when the window closes at 11pm on Thursday, then he will find it difficult to play for the club again.
'That is why so many voices are screaming that he should be sold. I disagree. Passionately.'
The former England international went on to say that fully expects the 25-year-old to work hard for the club, should a move to the Camp Nou not materialise by Thursday's transfer deadline.
'Coutinho has got a lip on at the moment, and I don’t doubt he will be cursing everyone at Anfield, hating everyone,' said Fowler.
'But when it dawns on him he is not leaving, if September 1 arrives and he is still in a red shirt, then, believe me, he will knuckle down and start playing again.'
Is Fowler right? More to the point, will Coutinho still be a Liverpool player on September 1?
