Fonseca meets with Newcastle

As soon as the Premier League officially announced Newcastle's Saudi-led takeover, lots of rumors regarding players and managers emerged. The richest club in the world currently stands in the relegation zone. 

Steve Bruce was sacked by the new owners. The English manager was closed to bein fired before the Tottenham game, but in the end he managed that game to reach 1,000 games managed. The 'Magpies' lost 3-2 against Spurs and Bruce was fired.

Graeme Jones is now the interim manager until the right replacement arrives. Paulo Fonseca could be the chosen one  to take charge of the 'Magpies'. According to 'The Daily Mail', Fonseca and Newcastle's representatives met on Wednesday.

The former Roma manager would manage for the first time a Premier League team after working in Portugal, Ukraine and Italy.
