Foden on Guardiola: "Maybe he’s taken a little holiday to play golf or something"

His talent is undeniable and no one in Manchester doubts he is one England's brightest young talents, but, despite everything, he has played just 10 minutes in the four matches so far this season.
Therefore, the footballer, who made his Man City debut at just 17, used sarcasm when he was asked if his great game for England would give him more game time for City: "I don't know, maybe he’s taken a little holiday to play golf or something!"
That was the response from a Foden who has been asking Pep for more opportunities to perform at City. Last season, the youngster played just 1007 minutes for the first team and scored seven goals as well as giving one assist.
As well as the 19 year-old's great numbers, Pep Guardiola stated that the Englishman is the "most talented player" he has seen in his managerial career, despite having coached stars of the game like Leo Messi, Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta.
It remains to be seen what Pep Guardiola does next. Will Foden get more game time? Time will tell.
