Filipe Luis sidelined with injury

Atletico Madrid made it through to the Round of 16 of the Champions League, but at a cost. Simeone has several players sidelined and now Filipe Luis has joined the list.

The Brazilian full-back was one of the only players to have avoided the Atletico injury list this season, and also played every minute against both Barcelona and Monaco.

However, tests confirmed on Thursday that the defender is suffering from problems in his calf and will be sidelined for around two weeks, according to 'Marca'.

Filipe Luis joins Diego Godín, Giménez and Juanfran on the sidelines, meaning Simeone has even more problems in defence.
