Fekir explains his failed move to Liverpool

In an interview with 'L'Equipe', Nabil Fekir has pointed out that he could have signed for Liverpool and that he parted company his agent Jean-Pierre Bernes, who he accuses as of one of those which prevented the deal happening.
"I assure you that I passed the medical and they decided not to sign me. They wanted to make me think that it was my knee, but they they had to have an excuse and the medical tests in Clairefontaine were very clear," he assured.
Fekir referred to the fact that he was surrounded by people who were not at all positive for him: "What annoys me is that other clubs which were potentially interested pulled out."
On his signing for Betis, Fekir made clear that he is proud to been able to move to La Liga: "I am satisfied as a person on a sporting front, which is what counts. La Liga is a league which has always attracted me and I have the opportunity to evolve in a family club."
