Everything you need to know about the Clasico

The time has almost arrived. Barcelona and Real Madrid are set to meet in the 14th round of the Primera Division in a match that is always anticipated not only in Spain, but throughout the whole world.

With the 13th round of matches out of the way in La Liga, attentions turn to Spanish football's most famous fixture. We run through all you need to know about the meeting between Barca and Madrid...

WHAT TIME IS THE CLASICO?

The first Clasico clash of the season takes place in Barcelona at Camp Nou on Saturday. The meeting between Spain's two biggest teams gets under way at 3:15pm UK time and will not be available on UK TV. BeSoccer will give you live updates of the game, as it happens.

Curiously, it is not the only match involving teams from Madrid and Barcelona that day as Atletico are at home to Espanyol later on Saturday.

WHO WON THE LAST CLASICO?

Real Madrid won last time out at Camp Nou on April 2. Barcelona paid tribute to Johan Cruyff prior to kick-off following the Dutchman's death on March 24, but they were unable to dedicate a win to their former player and coach despite taking the lead.

The Blaugrana went ahead through Gerard Pique after 56 minutes, but Karim Benzema levelled for Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winner with five minutes left after Sergio Ramos had been sent off for a second bookable offence. The match was Zinedine Zidane's first Clasico as Real coach.

Despite the result, Barca went on to win La Liga by a point from their fierce rivals.

IS GARETH BALE INJURED?

Gareth Bale is sidelined after suffering an ankle injury in the Champions League away to Sporting in Lisbon last Tuesday and will undergo an operation this week.

The Welsh winger will therefore play no part in the fixture this time around. Toni Kroos is also out for Real Madrid, but Casemiro is expected to be back after a spell on the sidelines.

WILL INIESTA BE BACK FOR BARCELONA?

Andres Iniesta has been out since October 22, when he suffered a serious knee injury in the 3-2 win away to Valencia in La Liga following a strong challenge by Enzo Perez.

Tests confirmed the injury was less serious than Barca had first thought, with the recovery time expected to be six-to-eight weeks.

Iniesta has been badly missed in his time out, but has returned to training and Luis Enrique said on Sunday: "We are optimistic that Andres and [Samuel] Umtiti will be back for the Clasico".

WILL MESSI, NEYMAR & SUAREZ PLAY?

Lionel Messi did not train on Monday, but the Argentine attacker is expected to be fully fit to start the Clasico alongside Neymar (who avoided a fifth yellow card on Sunday that would have earned him a suspension for the game against Real Madrid) and Luis Suarez.

Neymar has been hit with problems off the pitch as a Spanish prosecutor called for the Brazilian to be jailed last week due to alleged corruption in his move from Santos in 2013, but none of that will stop the forward from playing for Barcelona and, in any case, the sentence would be a suspended one in the event of him being found guilty.

None of Neymar, Suarez or Messi will start for Barca in the Catalans' Copa del Rey clash away to Hercules in Alicante on Wednesday.

WHO WILL WIN THE CLASICO?

Real Madrid are unbeaten in 31 matches under Zinedine Zidane, stretching back to their 2-0 defeat away to Wolfsburg in April, which took place just four days after the last Clasico clash at Camp Nou.

The Blancos are also six points clear of Barca in La Liga and have lost only once in the Primera Division since Zidane's arrival as coach (at home to Atletico last February), but Luis Enrique's side are at home on Saturday and the Asturian coach predicted a great improvement from his team following their 1-1 draw at Real Sociedad on Sunday.

A Clasico is always difficult to predict and there is no real favourite going into the fixture this time around.
