"Eriksen is the most important signing in the club's history"

Brentford manager, Thomas Frank, has highlighted the importance of Christian Eriksen's arrival to his team: "From the first moment I was convinced that he could help us and that signing him would be a great bit of business, perhaps the best in Brentford's history".
In the last Premier League matchday, the Dane started his second match for Brentford. During the match, he made an assist for Ivan Toney to open the scoring. The Bees went on to win the game against Burnley. This was the first three points for Eriksen in a Brentford shirt.
"He's had heart problems, but this hasn't affected his speed or any other factor. He has a great mentality", explained the coach after the victory against Burnley.
Christian Eriksen made his return to football two weeks ago against Newcastle. This came after a 259 day break from the beautiful game, after the Dane suffered from a cardiac arrest during the Euros last summer during a match between Denmark and Finland.
