England v Nigeria - Preview and possible lineups

England:
With Champions League finalists Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold permitted extended leave after their big night in Kiev, expect to see England's strong Spurs contingent running this tie. Who Southgate will put between the sticks remains a mystery.
Nigeria:
Ranked 47th in the world, 34 places below opponents England, Nigeria are the underdogs going into this clash. They are, however, by no means void of talent, with Chelsea's Victor Moses and Leicester duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho all set to feature.
England boss Gareth Southgate on Raheem Sterling:
"He's a super talent and a mentally tough boy. I really enjoy working with him. He's got a lovely sense of humour and he's gaining the confidence to come and and speak in this sort of environment and he's done it well recently."
Nigeria captain John Obi Mikel on the World Cup:
"We want to do well, we want to do better than ever, we want to go one step further."
Possible lineups:
England: Pickford; Trippier, Walker, Stones, Maguire, Young; Lingard, Alli, Dier, Sterling; Kane.
Nigeria: Ezenwa; Shehu, Balogun, Idowu, Troost-Ekong; Obi Mikel, Ndidi; Moses, Onazi, Iwobi; Iheanacho.
