Drinkwater is causing a bit of a headache!

The footballer belongs to Chelsea, but he has a contract with Burnley until January. The club have the possibility of extending this link until June.
The altercation at night-time that involved Drinkwater and ended with the injured player angered Burnley very much. So much so that, according to 'The Sun', the entity would have decided not to prolong his time at the club. He would therefore have to return to Chelsea in January.
However, according to Sean Dyche, Burnley's coach, to 'Sky Sports', Drinkwater could have another chance. The team are giving him a chance to show that he deserves to stay at Burnley.
So, Burnley are still thinking about what to do with Drinkwater. It remains to be seen if the team confirm that they are extending his contract until the end of the season, or, if he will pack his bags in January and return to Stamford Bridge.
