Dovbyk denies Girona exit rumours

Artem Dovbyk's future, like that of many of his teammates at Girona, remains up in the air. He spoke about it after Ukraine's 3-0 Euro debut defeat to Romania.

"I am very happy at Girona and I feel good with all the people around me, i.e. the players, coach and management. With me they are wonderful and give me all the conditions to give my best, it's great," he explained.

Meanwhile, he acknowledged his agent's contacts with Italian teams in an interview a few days ago in the media of the Ukrainian Federation. Moreover, according to 'Sky Sport', Atletico Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with him for his services.

Artem Dovbyk has had a great season, making 39 appearances, scoring 24 goals and providing ten assists. These numbers have helped Girona to qualify for the Champions League.
