Diego Costa demands this salary from Chelsea

Diego Costa joined Chelsea in 2014 from Atletico Madrid and his current contract runs until summer 2019. 

However, he has been linked iwth a move away from the club. He is the top scorer of the Premier League and several clubs from Europe and China are keen to sign him. The 28-year-old himself admitted the other day that he was about to re-join his former club last summer.

But according to British media, he would considering to stay, if they raise his salary. He asks £300,000 per week, two times more than his current salary. His club is willing to offer him £225,000, therefore they are expected to keep negotiating.

If the Blues refuse to pay him as much as he wants, he still has the option to join Tianjin Quanjian in the Chinese Super League. The club has reportedly offered him a €35 million salary per year. A tempting offer...
