Lautaro Martínez, after controlling and turning, played a lovely pass for Angel Di Maria, who got Argentina's second at Wembley after a lovely chip.

In the Copa America final, he did his bit by scoring a goal to give Argentina the title and he scored on Wednesday at Wembley. Di Maria got the second just before the interval after Lautaro Martinez and Messi combined for the first.

Lautaro Martinez was largely responsible for the first goal with a Messi like run. The Inter Milan player received a long ball from Emiliano Martinez and held the ball up. He then used his speed and power to turn and get away from his marker.

The striker sprinted and got into the box where he made a perfectly weighted pass to Di Maria. He then got away from his marker and was one on one with Donnarumma. Higuain, with his usual class, beat the goalie with a beautiful and precise lob.

It was 0-2 to Argentina thanks to a goal just before the interval, one of the worst times to concede a goal.
