Despite everything, Rodrygo is still at Real Madrid Castilla

After hogging all the media attention after his first senior goal for Real Madrid, 90 seconds after coming on, Rodygo Goes went back to training with Real Madrid Castilla under Raul. According to 'Marca', Zinedine Zidane decided that the ex-Flamengo man would train for the B team on the eve of the derby. 

The French coach has got back players like Luka Modric and Isco and will wait until the last minute to decide on Marcelo, the only fit full-back after Ferland Mendy's injury. If he the vice-captain is not fit in time, Nacho Fernandez would be at left back again. 

Nevertheless, the surprise on Friday morning was Rodrygo Goes' absence. The Brazilian, after going through a rollercoaster of emotions, scored at the Bernabeu and then went to Castilla on the eve of the derby at the Wanda Metropolitano. 

Although the squad list has not been officially confirmed, Rodrygo's absence from the first team on the eve of the encounter makes us think he will not be part of the squad on Saturday. 

A drastic change which the club are hoping does not affect the Brazilian. At Real Madrid they are delighted with the maturity with which the 18 year-old youngster has arrived at Real, where he taken to his role very quickly. 

The club is delighted with the well structured life the young Brazilian striker has. As well as the fact he learnt Spanish before moving to Madrid on the advice of his mother, the club are very happy with the way his father has supported him in every match and training session since pre-season training in USA.
