Dembele's lesson: "You must start acting like an adult"

Ousmane Dembele suffered his third injury of the season against Borussia Dortmund. The Frenchman left the pitch in tears, battered and everyone at Barcelona reacted with unanimity, he needs a solution and quick.
One of the most interesting reactions was from Jacinto Ela, former Espanyol and Southampton footballer and now writer. He published on social media an opened letter for Ousmane Dembele in which he shared some striking lessons.
"Disconnect from social media for a while. Why do you need it if all your friends live with you? This is another issue, I don't know why you live with so many colleagues. Isn't there anyone who sees that this isn't good, or that you don't care," said the former footballer.
About Dembele's company and his attitude, he said: "To kick your friends out of your house is not to kick them out of your life. I understand that you need to be accompanied, but you have to start thinking like an adult. It's not easy at your age, I admit. But it's your turn to 'get bored' a little to get your best version".

Regarding his injuries, Ela showed understanding. "Muscle injuries are like the breakdown of a working class family's car, they never come at the right time," he said.
"Forget about recovering as soon as possible, play when you are ready. Playing with a limp is not really playing when there are other options," Ela commented, insisting on the need to be responsible and to wait for the demands of the medical team.
"Obey all the advice that the professionals of the club give you. If you have to go to sleep ar 20:00, do it, if they say you have to go vegan, eat tofu every day, if you must do yoga, do it," the ex-footballer added, then finished: "Now you can be a legend, but you must help yourself."
