'Daily Mail': Pogba skipped travel to force exit

This Friday, the team flew to Cardiff, where they will be facing their last preseason game before the Premier League start. Paul Pogba was the notable absentee... and Solskjaer explained why during the press conference. 

“At the end of the session today, Paul got a back spasm, the same issue he had last week, when he missed the session in Norway. But I think he’ll be available early next week”. So was the official version is given by the club for the Frenchman's absence. 

However, sources are claiming there is more to it. As the Daily Mail's headline stated, "Paul Pogba makes fresh attempt to force move out of Manchester United". The newspaper claims that it was the midfielder himself that decided not to make the trip to Cardiff. 

In fact, the source explained that Pogba's absence from the trip to the Welsh capital surprised both his team-mates and the club's management, who were not expecting a sit-in.

The Mirror also confirmed the reports, stating that "the 26-year-old appears to have his heart set on leaving Manchester United ", but also points out that the Real Madrid has not yet presented an official bid for the player. 

Regardless of the rumours surrounding his possible departure, if Zidane is set on bringing Pogba his team will have to make a quick move. After all, the Premier League transfer market closes August 8. Meanwhile, Donny van de Beek has also been heavily linked with Real Madrid, which means last-minute transfers will be an ongoing occurrence.
