Didier Deschamps keeps on losing players to injury. The latest to join the list is Adrien Rabiot.
The French FA (FFF) explained via social media that "he will not be able to participate in the final of the Nations League against Spain." The reason? The PSG footballer tested positive for COVID-19 in the latest tests that were carried out.
The FFF's statement read the following: "The Juve midfielder tested positive for COVID-19. As soon as the results were known, he was put into quarantine. He will not go to Milan with the rest of his teammates."
It is bad luck for France who will not be able to replace the player in the squad as the Nations League's rules do not allow it. That means Deschamps will have 21 players at his disposal for Sunday's final.
