Courtois back in training, expected to return to action in April

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois enjoyed a few minutes in Real Madrid's Wednesday group session at their training complex, marking another step forward in his recovery from the ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee he suffered in early August.
The Belgian's recovery plan is progressing slowly but surely and he is getting closer to the desired time of his return to the pitch. According to 'EFE', the goalkeeper enjoyed his return to the group in training on Wednesday, working for a few minutes with the rest of his teammates.
Courtois did specific movement exercises, touching the ball in game actions, receiving and passing to teammates, for a few minutes that encouraged his usual daily recovery plan alone.
The goalkeeper suffered a serious injury to his left knee in training on 7th August and underwent surgery ten days later by Dr Manuel Leyes. Since then, he has spent six months before returning to training with the group for a few moments.
Despite Courtois' good sensations, the Madrid coaching staff led by Ancelotti does not expect to be able to count on him to compete until April, in the hope that he will be in perfect condition for the final part of the season.
