'COPE': Jovic will pay 30,000 euros to avoid jail in Serbia

Luka Jovic broke lockdown rules at the height of the first wave and the Serbia prosecution service asked for him to be given a severe punishment: six months in prison. The Real Madrid footballer will pay a large fine to put the issue to bed.

The justice system in Serbia was threatening to punish him severely because he is a public figure.

They wanted six months in jail for him, but it seems like they will back down if he pays a very large fine.

The 'Cadena COPE' says that the fine will be 30,000 euros. He will not have to go to jail, but it will not underdo his tarnished reputation in Serbia.
