Concern at Barca as Ansu Fati may not be the player he was

Ansu Fati has become Barcelona's main hope for now and in the future. Before getting injured, every ball he touched ended up in a dangerous chance or goal. 

The Barca attacker wanted to return as soon as possible and it has cost him dearly. He has hardly played this season, just a total of 538 minutes in 15 games and he has not started since 6th November. 

'Sport' say that the club and their doctors are very worried about Ansu Fati's physical state as he is nowhere near as good as he was before the injury. 

He has lost pace, power, resistance and explosiveness, precisely the reasons why the young academy player was so good. 

Barcelona are fearful that Ansu Fati will not be the player which he was before which made him one of the best for Barca and Spain. 

So, the club's medical services now see that the fact he did not have surgery and a conservative treatment have affected the footballer's quality. 

Ansu Fati did not want to go to theatre for a fifth time despite the doctors' advice. The treatment has not seem him get back to his best and the club are worried about the footballer's health. 

In the meantime, Xavi Hernandez wants to get him back and, in fact, sees him as one of the main men next season as a regular starter.
