Como gem Nico Paz expected to join Real Madrid next summer

Nico Paz undoubtedly established himself last season as one of the promising young players in European football, being the star player for Cesc Fabregas' Como, which put him on the radar of Europe's big clubs. 

The 20-year-old joined the Italian side in the summer of 2024 from Real Madrid, who retained a buy-back option in view of the promising future of the Argentine midfielder.

There have been recent rumors that Tottenham were willing to make an offer of around €70 million for the promising talent, but according to Fabrizio Romano, the player rejected a move to the Premier League in view of a future move to the ‘Merengues’ next summer after spending the 2025/26 season in Serie A.

In fact, Paz has made headlines again after leading Como to victory against Lazio with an impressive assist to open the scoring and sealing the win with an incredible direct free kick goal.
