Change of plans as Aubameyang set to leave and Depay to stay

The final days of the transfer window are being slightly delayed at Barca. The Catalans are still looking at ways to balance their books and complete their squad. 

One of the players who had the exit door shown to him was Memphis Depay. If the club have to get rid of players, Xavi felt it was best for the Dutch attacker to depart.

However, there could be a radical change in the situation. According to 'Sport', the departure of Aubameyang, who also has candidates after him, would make Barcelona backtrack and keep Depay.

The Dutch international had an offer on the table, but finally, it was successful. Another club who are after the Dutchman is Man Utd. However, they must sort out Cristiano Ronaldo's future first.
